What On Earth Will These Pieces Become?

Anyone have any ideas?

I spent last night cutting these pieces, and learned at least one thing:
my 28 mm rotary cutter needs a new blade!

Many thanks to all of you for the nice comments about my hostessing.
Actually, I'm not a very good hostess,
 as in serving/waiting on people.
As Ruth and Jennifer will learn Saturday,
I just turn everyone loose to wait on themselves!
And they always do a great job!  And we always have fun!

The sun is shining beautifully this morning,
and I'm going to the sunroom to sew!
This one will be an entirely new experience for me!

  1. I love those fabrics! I'm sure I'll see Saturday what you plan to do with them. I might want to try out the curved piecing foot too!

  2. Looks like a Drunkards Path design to me. Have fun and don't get too tipsy!

  3. Hmmm...Drunkard's Path (as Marsha has guessed) seems most obvious, but I'm willing to bet you're not going to let it be that obvious. Whatever you make I'm sure will be wonderful and those fabrics are great. (I love the two in the upper right best, though.)

  4. My vote is for Drunkard's Path, too. Maybe a patriotic version? I hope the sewing goes well, as I am anxious to see just what you are up to.

  5. Is this Drunkard's Path? I've NEVER had the guts to try curved piecing. Can't wait to see it on Saturday!! Jenn

  6. They sure look like Drunkard's Path but I don't know. Sometimes you are really tricky, Love. Whatever you do with them is going to be fantastic, that much I do know!

  7. I am with everyone else...looks like Drunkard path, but you might have a surprise up your sleeve.
I think the very best hostesses are the ones who make you feel at home enough to help themselves. And I am sure you make everyone feel welcome and comfortable in your home.
Can't wait to see what you are doing with those pretty fabrics.

  8. I'm intrigued. At first glance I'm thinking Drunkard's Path - and there are many settings within that - but you may surprise us. I guess I'll have to wait and see!

  9. A few patriotic quilts? Hi everyone! I'm still around, just not doing too much, and "Love", knows.

I just wanted to let you all know, that BHG is closing their forums, and it looks like APQ will be opening back up. Not even 16 months and they are going backwards. No answers to why.

It will probably be late May or June before I get back to blogging and quilting. I will explain at that time.

    Happy Quilting!

  10. I think that's the best type of hostessing, nice and relaxed is the way to go!

You're colour choice looks very patriotic but I won't guess, I'll wait to be pleasantly surprised. ♥
