Hope I'm not spoiling a special announcement from Ann Hermes, but today I was enjoying reading my August 2015 issue of American Patchwork and Quilting (yes, mine came in the mail this week!) when I noticed a small notice in an article that made me think of Ann whom we know from her "Notes From The Quilt Lab" blog. A small picture of the book "Pennsylvania Patchwork Pillowcases and Other Small Treasures" caught my eye, and I remembered Ann's blog several months back about her antique pillowcases and the progress on her book about them. I checked the current article, and sure enough, it is our same Ann Hermes of "Notes From the Quilt Lab"!
Be sure to check out the article and her beautiful quilt and instructions on pages 58-66. Her machine quilting is outstanding too!
Congratulations, Ann. Getting published in that magazine again is another well-deserved honor!
