One Down, One to Go!

Just have to tell you -------

Tonight I finished the binding on the first big patriotic quilt, complete with hanging sleeve and label!  I am so proud of the way it has turned out, but I haven't taken pictures yet.  I hope to get the hanging sleeve and binding sewed on the second one this week-end.  (I have a slight distraction; my grandson is spending a few days with me, and we are doing a few things together.)  When the second quilt is finished, I'll bombard you with pictures!  *wink*

I am so thrilled to see Sandy joining us again.  I have a feeling she is going to be offering lots of good ideas as she progresses with her quilting, as well as her writing.  Welcome back, Sandy!   ---"Love"

  4. You beat me to it...I was going to give you a hard time about no pictures yet! Glad to hear the first one is done. Bindings are the worst for me because I know I'm almost done and can't hardly stand it. I look forward to the pictures, but I hope you have fun with your grandson while we wait!

  5. Hi Love, I can't wait to see the pics. By the way, how is your hand??? Thanks for the advice on the pictures, but it still is giving me lots of trouble. It seems that I only do well when I want to publish one picture. Have fun with your grandson and have a great weekend. Connie204

  9. Can't wait to see the patriotic quilt!

Your hand must be doing better if you are managing to do the binding. I had a bad cut on a finger on Xmas day and refused to go get stitches! When I finally saw the doctor 4 days later, she told me "they" don't do that any more. They use a product like super glue that we can buy over the counter at the drug store! Maybe we should get some? 10. I'm so glad you are going to be able to have these completed by the 4th. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished products and be bombarded with pictures! I've been wanting to show them of the MIL for months. Hope you enjoyed some quality time with your grandson in between.
