Blogging Problems! I've Got 'Em!
If I tried to tell you all I've been through just to post this, you would never believe me! Maybe someday I'll share a bit more about it. In the meantime, this post is really just a test to see if I can make it work again!
I have been busy every day, quilting some, going to funerals --- again!, (that comes with my age), working a bit in the yard.
My main goal here is to show you my last Civil War blocks (weeks 19, 20, and 21 by Barbara Brackman), and if it works, I'll share more later if I can get back into this again!
The past two weeks we've accomplished a lot on our church quilters' project. Here's a little of the work in progress.
These are trimmings from the circles and will result in some 2" half squares for a mini project someday:
Tomorrow I hope to work on an entirely different small project, and IF I can ever post again, I'll show it and tell its story. It should be a "quickie"! (Now this thing won't let me start a new paragraph here!)
I haven't been able to post comments to blogs either for a few days. Just know I've enjoyed reading them all!

Your blocks are perfect! Sorry you are having problems with blogger. I haven't had any lately. Thanks for your comment on my post. I have been doing a lot of sewing and hope to finish quilting my Gone to TX quilt this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear Blogger is giving you fits. I'd be willing to bet you aren't the only one, so hang in there until they fix it. (Easy to say, hard to do!) The CW blocks look fantastic and I look forward to seeing those circles become half square triangles in the near future. (Blogger willing, of course!)
ReplyDeleteI am sure you have considered throwing the computer thru the window? Don't do it! Very messy and very expensive, LOL! (I have been so tempted sometimes.) Love the new blocks. What's up with the circles? How will they be used?

How frustrating! I hope Blogger gets set right soon. In the meantime you can just devote yourself to sewiong :)Your blocks look loveley and crisp, as usual. I'm intrigued by the circles. If Blogger behaves can we see what they turn into?
