"Freedom and Old Glory"

This morning I finished the little patriotic table runner I had started a few weeks ago.  It is 47" x 20.5".  For now, it is on the back of my couch, and will probably stay there until after July 4.
I got most of the other little patriotic quilts out this morning too, as I remembered and gave thanks for the many who gave their service, and some their lives, so that I could have the freedom to live as I do (and make patriotic quilts when I want to! *grin*).

Hope all of you are having a great day!

  3. A charming project Love! The service and sacrifice of our young people - past and present - in conflicts should always be remembered.

  4. Love it! You can't beat sawtooth stars for patriotic. I just realized that I'll have to wait until I get home in July to put mine out. I guess I was too busy before I left to do it. We are having a great time in OR with DS & family. My GD showed me all her fabric yesterday - she has a lot. We're going to have a sewing day soon - when she has a little more time. School isn't out here yet.
