Am I Getting Faster? --- Another Finish!

After delaying a finish on my Stack and Whack for 3-4 years, I now have a "Finish" on my "Freedom's Star" quilt! I was amused when I saw the date on the finished top picture, as compared to the date on the finished quilt picture. There's just about a year's difference in the two dates! That's got to be a first for me, on a fairly large quilt. Here's a close-up of the corner and simple quilting. "GS Quilter" is back this week and making good progress on his quilt. We are both tired tonight, but had fun today! I've been fighting with this computer again in order to post tonight, Hope it goes this time! ---"Love" Update: Even after two pictures were included, they do not show up in the Preview or Post! I have no idea what I'm doing wrong! ---"Love"

  1. That's great! Unfortunately, the picture did not show up. Computers can be such a pain. We have been having some problems with our desk top also. I just hope it will last a couple more years.

  3. You are getting faster... LOL. Maybe you could send some of that fast to me. I seem to be slowing down.
I hope your computer starts behaving so we can see your finish!

  4. How frustrating for you (and disappointing for us!) that the pictures won't post. I've had trouble with the blogger editor, so I've been using Windows LiveWriter to write my blogs. It's free to download and pretty straightforward. Most of the time what I see on my screen is exactly how things will look when I publish the post to the blog.

I'm sure your quilt looks great and I know it feels wonderful to finally call a project a "finish".

  5. ot the full idea since the photos are posted now! The quilt is beautiful. And it's not a race to finish. Enjoy the process. Or at least the part of that happens before you realize your deadline is 3 days away and you'll be sewing the label on while your hubby drives you (complaining due to the unexpected need for him to be your chauffeur) to your destination... Please do show photos of the GS progress, assuming it's approved. :)
