For several years it was my practice on July 4 to make or at least finish a patriotic table topper or wall hanging. As I looked back to see what I had posted last year, I could not believe that I did not post anything red, white and blue! I guess I was just so involved in that big Civil War quilt, I just didn't have anything new to post. I did find a couple of pictures that I can post this year though they were both made in the past couple of years. I guess surely I posted them somewhere sometime, but I haven't found them yet. So here they are today.

| In true fashion, this one wants to wave a bit! Label says it was made October, 2015. |
Last night I did get my Block Heads Week 17 block made. It will have to do for my 2017 July 4 project. Still have to make Week 16 with the flags.

Lovely decor for the holiday! : )
ReplyDeleteHappy Independence Day to you, and God Bless America!!
Beautiful quilts! I'm trying to remember if I've seen them on the blog, but don't remember them. Of course, that doesn't mean they haven't been shared here! I hope you have a wonderful time with your son and look forward to the promised proof of quiltiness!
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th July Love and boy would I like to try one of those grilled hamburgers. Your patriotic wall hangings are terrific and I love the way Americans display their pride in their country.
ReplyDeleteYou have beautiful patriotic things for the 4th! Wish I had as many. Do you still have the one made with the curved blocks?
