Since my vertigo attack in Penney's, I've several more since the quilt show, including two trips to the ER by ambulance in the last two weeks! They have run every test known to man on my body, and so far, no doctor has come up with a solution to my problem.
Needless to say, I've been either at home or a doctor's office since the quilt show, except for church one Sunday, and my son took me to Walmart for a few necessities. Fortunately my freezer is always full, so I've not gone hungry.
I am getting bored, but I'm afraid to try to do too much. Got to get an appointment with the new ear doctor and also my primary doctor next week.
My son has been wonderful to help me; he's been here every day he has been off work, and even missed one day this past Tuesday because of me. Don't know what I'd do without him. Also friends have called a lot to check on me, and have offered to bring food. The firemen were so caring both times they were here. I'm getting to meet all the rookies, but I'd rather it be some other way.
Just thought I'd let you know I'm still around and reading your blogs, but that's about all for now.
Hope you all have a great weekend. Maybe next week I can sew a little; hope so!

Oh, so sorry to hear what you have been going through. I will keep you in my prayers and hope you can get some answers that help you!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you have having so many health issues. Your body probably does need a rest from so many activities before the quilt show though. I know it would get boring not being able to do the things you love and to go places you love to go to by yourself. Thinking about you and praying that the doctors will come across something that will help.
ReplyDeleteI hope they can figure out what is wrong soon!! Resting is good!
ReplyDeleteJust take it easy til you're feeling better. We'll be thinking of you and hoping you'll be back to stitching soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better and get to stitch soon. This is certainly frustrating, take it easy!
ReplyDeletemy son suffers from vertigo. He is a Veteran and uses a physical therapist that specializes in vertigo. She did do the procedure where you lay on the exam table with you head over the table and she manipulated it. He did vomit, but the result was tremendous. She said the more you do the treatment, the less often you have vertigo and she is right. He can feel it coming on now (5 years) and does the treatment on his own at home. I have read/heard that it really kicks up when the seasons are changing or the barometer drops. Good luck. Sharon in Colorado
