Gee, I'm having trouble getting a second picture further down in my blogs! The picture jumps in at the very top of the blog every time! HELP!! I wanted to include this bit of foolishness in the other blog, but just couldn't make it work! So please just bear with me! I just wanted to show you these pictures.
You might guess who kept distracting my attention last week. Yep, that's right! Mr. Bush-ee was just outside the window showing off his athleticism while stealing from the birds' seed bell. I was able to get five pictures before he got his tummy full and ran away. He is not afraid of me at all, and I think he loves to pose for me to take his picture! (Please ignore my poor rose bushes; I hope the freeze didn't kill them!)
Okay, now back to quilting, everyone!

Hi Love,
ReplyDeleteThe table runner is a beauty -- but I especially love the squirrel photos.
A few years ago I managed to convince a neighbourhood squirrel to let
me hand feed him. It was fun, until I realized that I might be setting him
up for heartache (or worse). It seems that not everyone is as fond of squirrels as I am!
Sandy
Mr Bush-ee is very cute!
ReplyDeleteGreat squirrel pictures, he must be fun to watch!

The runner is so bright & cheerful! Glad you are feeling so much better. Don't you just love watching our wildlife neighbors? We have had a rough winter here in Indy and many of our birds are "hiding" from the hawks. My feeders usually have to be filled every other day, but now the seed is lasting for weeks. Some day I will have to comment on my son's lecture of being happy to feed ALL the wildlife. Mary
ReplyDeleteHee hee! I have missed Mr Bushee. He's quite the contortionist. Glad you are feeling better too. You could easily spend days checking out all the incredible blogs and websites out there. Have fun! Ann :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the table runner - I don't remember anything much like it from before, but sometimes I have trouble remembering my name...
ReplyDeleteWe have naughty sqirrels at my house. The kitties talk to them while they chase each other around trees or knock down bird feeders!
As for your picture trouble, are you using the "Updated post editor"? The default when I signed up was the "old editor" and it only lets you put pictures in at the top and then you have to try to squeeze your typing in and it does odd things (trust me, I fought hours with it for the first few posts). If you aren't sure and/or want to change it, click on the "customize" link at the top right of your blog page. Select the "settings" tab and scroll all the way down the page of "Basic" settings (what I think it will open first from the settings tab). Second header of options up from the bottom is "Select post editor". Click on the dot/box next to "updated editor" if it isn't already, then push the orange "save settings" button at the very bottom. This will switch to a newer editor that will place your pictures where your cursor is when you upload them. You can drag them around and resize them (small, med, large, etc.) once they're pasted, too. Hope that helps!
testing to see if I can leave comments today.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! It seems I can now leave comments again.
ReplyDeleteI think a bit of foolishness is always required to give a lift to our spirits. And how wonderful you have kept us posted with Mr. Bush-ee's antics.
Your table runner looks great, and it seems the perfect project to get the motivation and inspiration a flowing.
The only thing I can think of with regards to the photos, is to ensure that your cursor is where you want the picture to be inserted.. but it looks like Katie, may have the solution.
Glad to hear and see you are doing better.

Great pictures of Mr. Bush-ee. Glad to see him again. Beth
ReplyDeleteHe's getting ready for his bikini!! Woo Woo Mr Bush-ee!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Katie left her tutorial! I was having the same problem. :) Christine
Cheeky little thing!
