* means UFO from 2010 (Two will go to quilter; I'll try to quilt the Stack and Whack, and will finish the Christmas table mat machine quilting by the end of January --- I used it on the coffee table at Christmas as is!  I'm not listing any other UFO's from years past, not now anyway!

I'm very surprised!  I thought I had done very little quilting during 2010!  I decided to turn through all my blogs last night, and all those things are there!  (By the way, how far behind are you on printing your blogs?  I'm all caught up as of last night!)  I still can't believe it!  The list does show that I did very little quilting the last quarter of the year.  Of course, that's a very short list compared to most of you, but when I considered everything else that happened during 2010, well,....just look at this next list!
  1. January - moved from APQ to Blogspot - had to learn how to blog all over again!
  2. February - Five-Plus inches of Snow - a rarity in my area!
  3. May - High School Class Reunion
  4. May - Air Conditioner fan motor went bad.
  5. May - Computer down for what seemed almost a month.
  6. June - Bad Hand Injury
  7. August - Sewing Machine Cabinet Extension added
  8. October - My Garage Sale
  9. November - Sister's Estate Sale
  10. November - Fell at church; injured knees and hand
  11. December - Severe Foot Injury
  12. December - Christmas Party here for 19 high school friends, in addition to family Christmas
  13. Throughout the year - Attended Seven Quilt Shows; enjoyed every one of them!
NO WONDER I'm slow getting Christmas packed away!  Hopefully, I'll finish that in a couple of days.  I almost found the top of the sewing machine today!  *giggle*

Frankly, I'm surprised I got any quilting done at all in 2010!  I'm way too old for all this stuff!

2011 has just got to better all around!  I'm going to be playing catch-up all year because of all the quilting the rest of you are already doing this year!

Have fun quilting, and try to stay safe this year!  I'm going to try!

  3. You got a LOT done this year. We all did and have blog posts to prove it! And if you want to get even more done in 2011, you know you've got your own cheering section right here waiting for you.

And by the way, how is that foot injury coming? I hope it's looking and feeling much better from when you showed it to us!

  5. That is a pretty impressive list of finishes, regardless of age. Do you have pictures of the four quilts you bound for a friend?

Most important of all, how is that foot doing? I sure hope the short answer is "Better".

  6. How quickly we forget all the wonderful things we do, I'm glad you did your little review. You accomplished so much! You mentioned you are too old for all this, you are an inspiration! I hope I remain as active and creative as I get older, you set a great example. And I hope we all have many, many, many more years to enjoy. Have a great 2011, sew as much as you can, enjoy friends and family and keep showing us your beautiful projects!

  8. You thought you hadn't accomplished much? I'll be hanging on to my hat when you do "accomplish a lot". I won't be able to keep up! Take care and enjoy making friends with your machine again after your Cristmas hiatus.

  9. You had a very busy year! Maybe the busyness is helping to keep you young. I think it's great that you still decorate a lot for Christmas and keep making quilts. One of my fellow guild member's mother kept on quilting into her 90s and I hope I can keep doing it that long too!
