Pledge of Allegiance

One patriotic project finished; one to go!  I even got the label on the back!

Pledge of Allegiance measures 45" x 19", and will be donated to the church youth fund raiser auction for their Christmas ski trip.  I divided the hanging sleeve on the back so it can be hung from the center point, or from brackets on each side.  I will include a small rod with the donation.

As you can see, I have the wall hanging on a yardstick (which will not go with it!).  Of course, the yardstick is too wide for my closet door.  I have it hanging from the center on a clear plastic over-the-door wreath hanger.  If it goes too cheap at the auction, I'll buy it back, and hang in there in the sunroom during patriotic days/months!  I like how it looks there!

Now if I can ever get those stars on The Wave Salute!  That's next, and it will be mine!

'Til next time, have fun quilting!

  1. Love it! It looks so good on your door. The stripey binding - love that, too.

  3. Looks Great! I love the way the binding sets it off! It will be a nice addition to your patriotic collection if you buy it back, but would be good if someone else pays lots for it. There was a snow storm in Flagstaff, AZ, so we stopped early in Williams for the night. It was about 28 degrees this morning.

  4. It really turned out great! I love the fabrics you used. I hope it auctions for a great price, but by all means, if it doesn't seem high enough, buy it back and enjoy it. It looks so nice on your door.
