Almost Half There!

Here's today's progress on the Underground Railroad.  The top half of the blocks are together!

The picture doesn't really show the sashing color well, but it is dark chocolate.

So what do you think?  Is it going to work?

    I knew you would find the right sashing once the blocks were done! I think it will be wonderful. Nice choice for the cornerstones.

    It is definitely going to work. I like how the cornerstones will distribute that lovely blue throughout the quilt.

    I think it works great. The sashings don't take from the blocks, and the little blue squares bring the whole thing together;)

    Those chocolate coloured sashings and contrasting blue corner stones work a treat. Isn't it nice when the quilt shop folk let you take over the place with your blocks/quilt top? Pulling out bolts and the like. Ann :-)

    Perfect! The dark sashings really focus your eyes towards the blocks, which is where they should be! It's a beautiful quilt and just keeps getting better every time you show it.
